Even in tablets, Infinix is aware of what their consumers want
Everyone is making tablets nowadays, even with some brands you don’t expect to be making tablets. Android tablets sure has come a long way since their demise during the pre-pandemic era. It’s only starting 2020 people have realized their usefulness as a mediator between smartphones and laptops. They are now catching up to phones quite fast, some of them even using AI integration and many are an entertainment and education powerhouse.
This is the aim of Infinix’s new tablet, the XPAD. The tablet has LTE connectivity and is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset. Pretty good considering it starts at PHP 7,499 (4/128) and PHP 9,499 (8/256), plus it comes with ChatGPT integration through its dedicated assistant, Folax. Although only the higher-end variant has LTE while the base version is Wi-Fi only. Still solid nonetheless.
Other noteworthy features of the tablet include its 11″ FullHD+ (1920x1080px) IPS LCD screen with 90Hz refresh rate, two 8MP rear and front cameras, a 7000mAh battery with 18W fast charging, quad speaker system, and aluminum design. The tablet is dated to launch tomorrow, August 27, in the Philippines. Though, it seems like its price has been revealed quite early. It comes in Gold, Black, and Blue.
It will be available to purchase on Shopee, Lazada, TikTok, and through authorized retailers nationwide.
