*The price can go as high as PHP 3,799 but that’s still a blessing
Vivo launched a new budget phone, intended for light to medium gaming, or what your local salesperson would call it “kayang mag ML” (it can handle ML/Mobile Legends). It is called the Vivo Y03 and just like its predecessors, it is what you expect from a phone at this price range.
First, it has a 6.5″ IPS LCD screen with 90Hz refresh rate (finally, Vivo got the memo). Though, don’t expect a dot notch here. Who in their right mind would add a dot notch into a sub-4K device anyway?
Next, the phone has 4GB RAM (complete with 4GB Virtual RAM) and plenty of space, if 128GB is still plenty for you that is. It also has a 5000mAh battery with 15W fast charging. It uses a surprisingly decent chipset for its price, a MediaTek Helio G85. Which means it can run Honkai Star Rail at the minimum, and that’s saying something. Although, our press release specifically mentions that it can run Call of Duty Mobile and Mobile Legends effortlessly.
It has two cameras. One at the front and one at the back… and the depth sensor. The primary camera has 13MP resolution while the front has 5MP. It also has IP54 protection in case your competitive game just gets too tense, it will survive finger sweats.
It is available for pre-ordering until April 21 only. The device is set to be available from April 30 onwards.
