The OPPO Reno11F. The Lost Reno11 Sibling Will Premiere on March 12

It comes with a new design too! It’s more symmetrical this time. Truly a lost sibling.

Previously, we were invited to check out the new Reno11 series phones. However sadly, due to schedule conflicts we weren’t able to go. It looks like this series isn’t over yet, as a latecomer, the Reno11F will make an appearance on March 12 with nature-inspired designs and colours.

Unlike the Reno 11 series, the Reno11 F looks like it came straight out of the A-series with its symmetrical design. It certainly does not look dull but also not as unique as the regular ones. However, this isn’t exactly a bad thing. It still has a strong design language throughout, it just feels less “Reno” to us. The series often boasts unique designs that are quite different from the competition.

It is a midrange phone through and through. At the front is a 120Hz AMOLED screen which houses the 32MP selfie camera. You will also be able to notch the volume by up to 300% here. The phone lacks stereo speakers and to compensate they got to do it software-based which usually isn’t as good as real stereo speakers.

For the performance lovers right there, you will find a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 (or 1080 if you don’t have a lot of time) inside. Some may approve this chip while others will deride it but it’s a chipset that works, and that’s what is important, right? The Reno11F features 8GB RAM with either 128 or 256GB storage. On the bright side, it’s UFS 3.1 and LPDDR4x so read and write are fast.

For the main camera, at the back, it’s a 64MP sensor complemented with an 8MP ultrawide and 2MP auxiliary. Also, you get the same 32MP selfie as the regular Reno11. The phone charges up its 5000mAh battery with a 67W SuperVOOC charger. It only takes 48 minutes to charge its empty battery to full, and 10 minutes from 0-

As always, it comes with the typical things you’d expect on a midrange. These include the in-display fingerprint sensor, 5G connectivity, and the apparent lack of a headphone jack.

It will launch on March 12 with a yet to be identified price tag.
