Realme to Launch the Realme C67 5G. A 4G Version with a Different Design Is Also Teased

For the first time, the C-series gets a 5G phone, making 5G more accessible than ever.

Realme will launch a new C-series phone globally on December 14th, the C67, as one of the last Realme phones to be released in 2023. Though, it is yet to be determined whether it will be launched alongside here in the Philippines.

Not just that, the C67 also has a 4G brethren with a completely different design. That one resembles Oppo’s A-series devices particularly the Oppo A98. However, the phone is to be released much later, on December 19th.

Realme C67 5G

Two days later, the Realme C67 5G will be launched. It’s easy to differentiate it from the 4G variant by its large circular camera island that is patterned similarly to the Realme 11 4G. The phone has been launched in India as the Narzo 60x. As these two phones are nearly similar, if not identical, they share the same spec sheet.

Like the Narzo 60x, the Realme C67 5G is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 6100 Plus, or for the veterans, this is known as the “Dimensity 810”. It’s like the third time MediaTek has rebranded their chipsets and calling it new. It is a brilliant marketing strategy for both chipset and phone brands alike.

Getting back at the front, you will encounter a 6.72″ FullHD+ (2408x1080px) IPS LCD with 120Hz refresh rate. It also is equipped with a 50MP primary camera (but we don’t talk about the 2MP depth here) as well as an 8MP selfie sensor. The phone has a dewdrop notch cutout.

It premieres with a 5000mAh battery and 33W SuperVOOC fast charging, so if you already own either a OnePlus or Oppo phone with SuperVOOC enabled, then it will work here. In terms of connectivity, as always, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 5G services, Bluetooth 5.2, Dual-band Wi-Fi, and NFC are included.

Prices are yet to be announced. Though, the spec sheet can still be altered once the phone actually launches. For now, we’ll assume that the phone is a rebrand of the Narzo 60x for the global market.

Realme C67 4G

As we mentioned earlier, the Realme C67 siblings are easy to identify by their camera layouts. The 4G version has a more classic look, one that feels similar to how Huawei does it, or even the Oppo A58, which, by the way, we have reviewed.

Launching on December 19th, the company is yet to tell the world what to expect of the phone. However, if we’re going to speculate, it will offer the same 5000mAh/33W fast charging as the 5G version, either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 or MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, the same 6.78″ display with either 90 or 120Hz refresh rates, and side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The image above confirms the camera, having 108MP resolution.
