The Redmi 13C is Here in the Philippines!

It’s a budget phone that’s something Vivo could have released.

Oh boy, another day, another budget phone, just before this year truly ends. The Redmi 13C is the newest release from Redmi and, just like the Redmi 12C before it, it’s yet another typical budget phone.

As you would have expected, the phone comes with a 6.74″ HD+ (1600x720px) 90Hz IPS LCD screen with a dewdrop notch, akin to the Redmi Note 7 back in the day, a 50MP primary camera complemented with a dual 2MP aesthetic sensor and an 8MP front camera.

The phone uses a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset because the G25 and G35 are considered outdated, even though it was outdated before brands started discarding it. The G85 is a pretty good chipset for a budget phone thankfully.

It does come with a redefined design and mimics that of the Xiaomi 13 series. We also like the glass-looking frame and back panel which gives a premium look. Though that premium illusion will disappear once you hold it and realize it’s made of plastic.

It comes with a 5000mAh battery with 18W USB-C charging. The screen is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and the frame also has an embedded fingerprint scanner which also functions as a power button. In terms of connectivity, you have 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.1

In the Philippines, the Redmi 13C, with its four colours Midnight Black, Navy Blue, Glacier White, and Clover Green, costs PHP 4,999 (4/128), PHP 5,499 (6/128), and PHP 6,499 (8/256). You can get one via Lazada, Shopee, or in any Xiaomi authorized kiosks and concept stores.
