As if Itel couldn’t kill ODMs further, we have this!

Let’s start with that RAM before we get to the rest of the article. Yes, it’s extended RAM, so you’re actually getting 4GB physically. Though, the company likes to advertise it this way because big numbers are attractive. However thankfully that 128GB claim is true, as most phones now have that much storage even at this price range.

Now, onto the design. It’s reminiscent of the Tecno Spark 10, even with the same “iPhone-ish” camera arrangement on its island. Like it, it also features a waterdrop notch which houses the 8MP selfie camera. There’s also a 13MP camera at the back. This design is not the first from Itel, the S23 Plus also shares a similar back design.

It’s making rounds in social media because of how it is advertised. It’s actually worth more than what it asks for. Its chipset is the UNISOC T606 which is very close in performance to the MediaTek Helio G37. The large 6.6″ screen features a “dynamic bar” which is Transsion’s fancy way of saying “Dynamic Island”. This is an IPS LCD screen with 60Hz refresh rate. Are you going to demand for more at a sub-4K price point? Probably not.

Finally, there’s a 5000mAh battery inside and charges via a 10W USB-C port. It is available for pre-ordering online which is one way to keep its price low. Currently priced at PHP 2,678 (during the midnight sale) with a choice between a pair of TWS earbuds or a triple-ported cable as a freebie. Its sale price is PHP 3,990 (3/128) exclusively available in TikTok. Oddly enough, the 4/128 variant is also available at the same price point so the existence of a 3/128 is for marketing purposes only. This variant is available to both Shopee and TikTok users.
