Vivo Releases Two Repetitive Budget Phones, the Y02 and Y02T

Design-wise it looks pretty, specs-wise, look elsewhere.

Vivo has announced two twin budget phones, the Y02 and Y02T. They are identical in nearly all aspects, apart from price and configuration. In addition, Vivo said that these phones are torture-tested so they could withstand all types of situations. Though, this may just be marketing talk as the phone lacks any real certification, such as an IP rating.

The phones come with a 6.51″ HD+ (1600x720px) IPS LCD screen. Both phones come with a dying MediaTek Helio P35 chipset which should really have been retired by now. The Y02T has 4/64 RAM/ROM while the Y02 has 2/32. Neither is ideal even for casual users.

Both phones come with a single 8MP rear camera and a 5MP camera on top of the waterdrop notch. Both phones also come with a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging. Both phones come with a 3.5mm jack, an outdated MicroUSB port, and a dual Nano-SIM slot.

The Y02T costs PHP 5,999 to purchase while the Y02 costs PHP 4,599. The Y02T comes in Sunset Gold and Cosmic Grey while the Y02 comes in Cosmic Grey and Orchid Blue.
