Make Way For the VIP: The Infinix Note 30 VIP Carries TOP-TIER SPECS at an Affordable Price!

No Ultrawide camera though

This is the Infinix Note 30 VIP. Right off the bat, you can tell the phone has the same design as the rest of the Note 30 series but what really matters is the inside. You shouldn’t judge a book based on its cover. Instead, you should judge the content and its pages because the specs of the Note 30 VIP are phenomenal against its asking price of PHP 13,999.

The most notable feature is the “new” MediaTek Dimensity 8050 inside. Essentially a rebadged Dimensity 1300. Even so, this chipset is normally reserved for phones around the PHP20K mark and Infinix manage to bring it down to a sub-15K price point. Of course, there are compromises made to make this possible.

First off, Infinix and Transsion, its parent, in general, are not well-known for timely updates but are quite infamous for their ad-ridden and bloated software. Second, to bring the chipset to this price, the cameras are heavily watered down. So here, you don’t get an ultrawide camera, only the useless 2MP cameras alongside the 108MP primary camera, which is just as expensive, if not more, to manufacture.

The phone uses a 120Hz AMOLED screen measuring 6.67″. Though, the manufacturer isn’t stated so who knows what quality you’re getting. It’s certainly not the fancy LTPO screens that most midrange and flagship phones get, nor is it the high-quality display that some phones like the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ get.

Thankfully when it comes to power, the company did not bog down. While you get the typical 5000mAh battery, this has been greatly compensated with 68W of fast charging and 50W wireless. You don’t see these things in a sub-15K phone usually.

Unlike the Note 20 VIP, the Note 30 VIP has 5G services. Also, there’s a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 6/6e, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and 4G LTE. You also get Virtual RAM and a MicroSD Card slot alongside a 3.5mm jack and USB-C port. The phone has stereo speakers tuned by JBL so hearing music in this thing makes it phenomenal. We expect that since it is advertised as a budget gaming phone.

There are two colours to choose from: Magic Black and Glacier White. The phone’s default 12/256 trim is priced at PHP 13,999 and is available via Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.
