ASUS ROG Phone 7 to debut globally on April 13th

They say 7 is a lucky number. Well, let’s hope this one has little issues at launch.

Teased very early in March, ASUS got excited about telling its users about the next ROG Phone. They couldn’t wait until June or July now, can they?

Announced first via the company’s social media pages, the official Twitter account gives a link about the upcoming online launch event. As a flagship gaming phone, it is expected to launch with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset (with up to 18GB RAM and 1TB storage), a 144Hz HDR10+ AMOLED with Dolby Vision, a series of fans and enhanced graphene plate, stereo speakers and headphone jack, RGB lighting, and triple camera setup. These are easy guesses though.

According to GSMArena, there would be three phones in the series, including the ROG Phone 7D. Unlike the ROG Phone 6D, the successor will be equipped with the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset as its other two siblings.

Of course, there is also the 7 Ultimate which would come with 18GB RAM. It will probably have specs identical to the base ROG Phone 7.

The launch date is around June or July, or Q3 2023. In comparison, the ROG Phone 6 series launched in September, or around Q4.
