One of the most expensive Snapdragon 695 phones available in the Philippine market
A few weeks back, the Reno 8T debuted in the Philippines sporting a Helio G99 chipset. It’s Oppo’s reimagining of the Realme 10 albeit with slightly different software features and design.
The Reno 8T 5G sports a design that may be designed by either Wiko or Huawei thanks to the camera bump and the curved OLED screen. You won’t believe its price after this. And get this, NO ULTRAWIDE!
The phone has a 6.7″ FullHD+ (2400x1080px) AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate. For its price, at least we’re expecting IP53 resistance but alas, Oppo has not announced that of any sort.
It retained the same identical 108MP triple cameras as its Helio G99 sibling. Also, the front camera has a 32MP resolution. Microscope is a feature that was also included with the 5G variant.
The chipset here is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. Meanwhile the phone utilizes a 4800mAh battery with 67W fast charging. You got to keep that chipset running somehow. Also, you need to rapidly charge that because you forgot to charge it at night you forgetful pleb.
Oh yeah, the price. It costs Php 23,999. It is insanely expensive, and is one of the most expensive Snapdragon 695 phones out there. (The only other thing that’s more expensive is the Nokia X30 5G). However, based on reports from our good friends from Oppo, the Reno 8T (Helio G99) sold well because of its premium design and offering. So despite its unmatching spec sheet, the Reno 8T 5G may sell well because the phone indeed does look more premium than what the internals tell. Midnight Black and Sunrise Gold are your colour choices.

The Oppo Reno 8T 5G is available in Lazada. In comparison to the Reno 8 5G, this phone is priced just 1K less but the latter is faster with a Dimensity 1300 chipset, charges faster at 80W, and offers a better camera system. On the other hand, the Reno 8 uses a flat 90Hz AMOLED screen and a slightly smaller 4500mAh battery. The Reno 8T 5G would also retail in Oppo’s concept stores and authorized resellers.
