Three new Oppo A series phones now available in the Philippines! These are the Oppo A77s, A17, and A17K

Again, comes with a shiny and attractive design

We were actually invited to come to this event but due to our conflicting schedule, we couldn’t. However, we do know what these three phones are about as they are available first elsewhere in the world.

These are the newest budget A-series phones from Oppo, the most powerful one being the A77s, an improvement that addresses the problems we had with the A57. If you’ve seen our review, we thought the cameras have a dilemma between being a 13MP camera or a 50MP one, and the A77s solves that problem by using a 50MP camera.

It is an improvement over the A57 4G. Mainly, it uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset, a far more capable chipset than the Helio G35. It still has 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage but these could further be expanded via Virtual RAM and through the MicroSD Card. It now has a 50MP primary camera although the 2MP depth remained. It uses the same 8MP front camera as the A57.

Another thing that remained is the 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. It still has a dedicated MicroSD card slot and two slots for the SIM Card. It has up to 4GB Virtual RAM as well. It comes in Sunset Orange and Starry Black all based on Oppo’s Glow Design design language. It has Dirac 3.0 for an immersive sound experience. Price is still expensive, at Php 14,999.

Oh one more thing, its camera while only 50MP, can take 108MP shots through the Extra HD mode. This mode combines two 50MP shots and merges them to achieve this feat.
