Realme has just released the GT Neo 3 with a Php29,999 price tag!

Come to think of it, it’s a performance phone, and that price is 100% justified!

Realme has officially brought the GT Neo 3 to the Philippines. It is unexpected as Realme never brought the performance series to the country before (no, The Master Edition does not count). One could say that the GT Master Edition might be some sort of experiment within Realme’s PR to determine whether the GT series would flourish in the country. Oh, also POCO’s F and X series need some competitors as well, as they monopolize the killer flagship category.

Pop open the hood and you’ll be greeted with some sweet internals. It features a triple camera system. The main camera is the beloved 50MP Sony IMX766 camera with OIS… and the others are just side characters. These include the 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro. In front is a 16MP S5K3P9 selfie camera.

You might also notice that the phone has a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset inside. It is the slightly lower-end version of the flagship Dimensity 9000 manufactured on a 5nm TSMC process. Realme chose to bring the 8/256 configuration to the country, which honestly is not a bad decision but we hoped that the 12/256 configuration was also available, as it is in India, along with the 8/128 configuration. The phone has a VC Cooling System for heat dissipation.

The battery is divided into two cells, totaling to 5000mAh. This comes with 80W fast charging so that the next time your phone unnoticeably dies, you can charge it again and within half an hour, you’re ready to go full power.

The front features a 6.7in. FHD+ (2400x1080px) AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate. The company has also injected its own display chip to further enhance the colour reproduction as well as help with the refresh rate, especially when gaming.

It has a USB-C port, stereo speaker system with Hi-Res Audio and Dolby Atmos certification, and an in-display fingerprint scanner with a gimmicky heart rate sensor built-in. It has 5G services, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC connectivity. One supposed mandatory feature missing here is the 3.5mm headphone jack, so better start adapting yourself to wireless earbuds, use a dongle, or use a pair of USB-C earphones.

As mentioned in the title, you probably have guessed the price is Php 29,999 which again, is truly unbelievable. It comes in Nitro Blue, Asphalt Black, and Sprint White. All of its colours come with racing stripes that further highlight the phone’s “Grand Tourer” theme.
