Narzo splits from Realme, will launch the Narzo 50 5G and the Narzo 50 Pro 5G on July 14th

The two phones are essentially just Narzo-fied Realme phones

Narzo was once a series of budget phones from Realme. Recently, however, the company split (much like Redmi) and will soon launch its own series of phones outside of budget ones. This would mean that Realme, also a subdivision, now has two subdivisions: Dizo, their Lifestyle/AIOT arm, and Narzo.

On the company’s newly-established Facebook page, Narzo announced two phones coming on July 14th. These are the Narzo 50 5G and Narzo 50 Pro 5G. Both of these phones were launched in other countries.

Narzo 50 Pro 5G

The Narzo 50 Pro 5G is Narzo’s version of the Realme 9 Pro+. However, as a company that originated from budget phones, the Narzo 50 Pro 5G has somewhat inferior specs. This includes the camera options it possesses.

The phone has a 6.4″ FHD+ (2400x1080px) SAMOLED screen with 90Hz refresh rate and protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is equipped with a Dimensity 920 5G chipset coupled with 6 or 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. So far so good, it’s the Realme 9 Pro+.

The cameras are where things start to change. While the Realme 9 Pro+ has a 50MP Sony IMX766 camera, the Narzo 50 Pro 5G downgrades to a 48MP Samsung S5GKM1ST 1/2″ camera. The 8mp ultrawide and 2mp macro were kept for aesthetic reasons. The front camera is still 16mp

The battery has a capacity of 5000mAh as well as 33W fast charging. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor and USB-C Port. For connectivity, the phone has 5G services, Bluetooth 5.2, and Dual-Band Wi-Fi.

The phone, like the Narzo 50 5G, comes in the same Hyper Blue and Hyper Black colours.
