MediaTek launches an improved Dimensity 9000, the Dimensity 9000+

With an even faster CPU and GPU!

The MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ is an enhancement over the popular and powerful Dimensity 9000. It is identical to the original, except that this enhanced chipset has faster clock speeds. The Cortex X-2 super core, for example, is now clocked to 3.2GHz. Everything else remains the same.

To recall, the Dimensity 9000 is manufactured on a 4nm TSMC process, has an octa-core CPU arranged in a 1-3-4 architecture. This is composed of a single Cortex X-2 super core, three Cortex-A710 performance cores clocked at 2.85GHz, and four Cortex A-510 efficiency cores. It uses a Mali-G710 MC10 GPU.

The Dimensity 9000+ uses an identical ISP, the Imagiq 790 that supports 320MP image stills. it also supports staggered HDR and noiseless 4K HDR recording. As a flagship chipset, it is equipped with a 5G modem with downlink speeds of up to 7Gbps. Its MiraVision 790 technology allow it to support displays of up to WQHD+ resolution at up to 144Hz refresh rate, or Full HD+ screens of up to 180Hz. It has Wi-Fi 6/6E and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity as well as support for Bluetooth LE for lossless wireless audio.

MediaTek said that the chipset would arrive for smartphones starting next year.
