Cherry has released a new version of their swivel camera that can record in 1080p and can store up to 128GB worth of footage via MicroSD card. This is called the Swivel Camera S2. Based on the name, it’s a 360° swiveling camera with motion tracking and can be controlled via the Cherry Home app. Cherry has been releasing several home improvements in recent years to strengthen their ecosystem. Basically, the company is venturing much more than phones and is more like the local version of Xiaomi.
Anyway, going back to the camera, it is easy to install with the given wall screws, can record in FHD+, has two-way audio, and is controlled via the Cherry Home app. As mentioned before, it has a slot for a MicroSD card for up to 128GB. The camera will delete old footage for a given time, in order to maintain and keep the storage from being full.
So as long you have an internet connection, you can access the camera anywhere provided that it is on and activated. Yes, even if you’re in the province, at the beach, or in the farthest city.
