If you’re looking for an affordable performance laptop, then this is for you.

The Inbook X1 is also known as “InBook X1 Pro” in other countries

The base variant of the InBook X1, the Core i3 variant has been released a couple of months ago. During the unveiling of Infinix’s first laptop, there’s no higher-end version of it despite one existing in other markets. Infinix finally revealed the i5 version and it was strategically released during the 12/12 sale in order to catch sales figures.

The InBook X1 Core i3 costs Php24,990 to purchase. The laptop features three colours with a stunning metallic finish inspired by nature. In addition, the laptop has a 55WHr battery and charges through USB-C with its 65W Type-C cable, and is fully rotatable on a flat surface. One of the core features of the laptop is its thin lightweight metallic chassis.

The ports of INBook X1

The laptop has 8GB LPDDR4 RAM with 256GB PCIe NVMe SSD storage that boosts nearly in an instant. Though the company did not say if this was still expandable or replaceable. It also has an optional backlit keyboard, a 720p webcam, multi-touch touchpad, and two 1.5W speakers with two 0.8W tweeters. In terms of ports, the laptop has a single 3.5mm jack, MicroSD reader, its own DC input charging port, two USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.0 port, and finally, two USB-C specifically for charging and data transferring. The Core i5 version has nearly identical specs except it comes with a larger 512GB SSD storage

This one costs Php31,990 but during the 12/12 sale, it’s discounted to Php28,690. This makes it one of the most affordable phones with an i5 processor. Though it’s still up to you if you trust Infinix in terms of laptops as you still have to consider servicing and parts replacement along with updates and build quality.
