Only four days until the budget periscope from Infinix arrives in the Philippines!

The Infinix Zero X series will definitely change the midrange game. Or is it another form of hype?

The Infinix Zero X series, originally a concept phone, is going official in the Philippines this 5th October! Only four days left until we get the budget periscope. As you may have noticed, most periscope camera phones are only available on flagships, because they use flagship processors that can easily process and support this super-far zooming feature and capabilities.

Turns out, you don’t need a flagship phone to capture the moon. The Infinix Zero X series uses a Helio G95, which is no way a flagship processor, but Infinix found a way to work the G95 so that their periscope technology works in their favour. This is possibly through software tweaking and tricks, and by adjusting their own camera software as well.

First announced on Infinix Philippines’ Facebook, the Infinix Zero X would surely turn eyes for photography and astrophotography lovers. Some content creators already got the phone as an early access and will soon review the phone. So we can’t wait how does this periscope camera perform on a midrange processor. If everything works, then it just means other processors of the same level does support periscope zooming capabilities and in the future, these cameras would become a feature in midrange phones! We hope, cause macro and depth sensors are so useless and gimmicky. Quite a filler unlike periscopes which has amazing functionalities.
