POCO India has teased a new variant of the Poco F3 (as if it wasn’t already great enough), called the Poco F3 GT.
Aside from the silhouette shown from the teaser, nothing much is announced yet for the phone, however since its sibling, the Poco F3 has been released, we can speculate.
The phone already was certified in websites such as TUV Rheinland, the Bureau of India, and the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Because of these official certifications, the phone is already waiting release.
The Poco F3 GT is expected to come with a 6.67in. FHD+ AMOLED screen and possibly a Mediatek Dimensity 1200 chipset. The phone is meant to compete with the likes of the Nord 2 and more realistically, the Realme GT Neo (especially with the “GT” branding). Like the regular Poco F3, the phone will come with a 64mp main camera, an 8mp ultrawide and a quite useless 2mp macro. For the battery, the phone is expected to come with a 5000mAh battery along with 67W fast charging. The phone may also come with a side-mounted fingerprint.
These specs are speculations, however seeing the GT branding and that the Poco F3 already competes with the Realme GT 9 (which also uses a Snapdragon chipset), then the MTK chipset of the GT is more likely. The Neo needs competition too. We’ll be hearing more once Poco officially announces it in India.
