A new POCO phone will land shortly in India soon, as announced by POCO India’s Twitter account.
There are multiple reports suggesting that the next F series POCO is discussing here is the Poco F3 GT, which comes with a Mediatek 1200 SoC.
The rumoured specs are as follows: For the display, it is said to come with a 6.67in. FHD+ OLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate. As for the processor, the phone will be powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 1200 SoC with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone will be shipped with MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11.
The Poco F3’s camera consists of a 64mp main sensor, an 8mp ultrawide and a 2mp macro. For selfies, it is said to come with a standard 16mp sensor. And finally, for the battery, it may house a 5065mAh battery with 67W fast charging.
If these rumoured specs sound similar to you, it’s probably because these are nearly the same specs as the Redmi K40 Gaming. That phone also has a Mediatek Dimensity 1200 SoC and the same 64mp main triple camera system.
In India, the phone may be priced around 25,000 INR to 30,000 INR (~16.5K-20K php). POCO has not announced availability yet. There may be a livestream revealing the device officially.
