Realme just announced the Realme Watch 2 Pro and has been officially released for the Malaysian market. It features a trendy design and, unlike its predecessor, has a larger screen, bigger battery and more improvements.
The watch now has a large 1.75in. 385×380 resolution display with 30fps refresh rate and 600nits brightness. The viewable screen is also larger than the previous model by 56%
It is IP68 water-resistant and has numerous sensors including blood, oxygen and heart rate sensor. The watch has at least 100 watch faces to customise (though it’s not Wear OS, it uses Realme’s proprietary UI). The watch also includes 90 sports modes.
The battery should last you for at least 14 days. It has a capacity of 390mAh and uses magnetic charging to charge the watch. The phone also has dual-satellite features that you can use to map routes. No need to slash out the phone out of your pockets.
Like a regular smartwatch, you can check different notifications, from weather to messages. The watch also lets you integrate the watch through your phone through the use of the Realme Link app. Among other features listed include sedentary and drinking reminders, meditation, and find your phone.
The phone, as mentioned has been released in Malaysia and would cost you RM 299 (~3.5K php) which is actually very affordable for a smartwatch. Then again, it does not have an AMOLED display or WearOS so that’s where the compensations lie in. There is no word for Philippine release yet so stay tuned for that!
