Huawei will release its first ever Smart TV in the Philippines with Harmony OS

Huawei announced that they will release their first Smart TV in the Philippines this 7th May!

Other than being a regular TV, the company teased about their TV being “Future TV”. There is also a speculated HarmonyOS built in as the main OS for the TV.

This TV could be the Huawei Vision S that was recently listed on Huawei’s website, and is available for purchase in Malaysia, it features the same design as the one seen in the teaser, which also includes the protruding camera on top.

In Huawei’s website, there are two sizes: 55 inches and 65 inches. The TV features a 120Hz 4K display with 350nits brightness. This TV also has HarmonyOS built-in for the TV which strongly suggests that the TV teased does also have HarmonyOS. It has 3GB RAM and 32GB Storage.

For the sound, there are two 10W full-frequency speakers coupled with two 10W tweeters with the company’s proprietary Huawei Sound tuning. The protruding camera on top support 1080p video and calls and has a resolution of 13mp.

According to Huawei, the new TV is part of their “1+8+N” strategy. The “1” refers to their smartphones, while the “8” refers to eight of Huawei’s products, which include, but are not limited to: PC, tablets, headphones, TV, audio, glasses, watches and locomotives. Last but not least, the “N” refers to Huawei’s physical and IoT products/services including mobile offices, smart homes, sports and health, audio-visual entertainment and smart travel.
