A teaser posted on Weibo showed that Huawei will launch its Android-based OS called HarmonyOS on the Huawei Mate X2!
Huawei have been testing the OS earlier this month and testing is still on-going. The company announced today that the first phone to get it will be the foldable Mate X2, with Android 10 as its fork. According to Huawei Central, many more phones will jump ship and be eligible for HarmonyOS
Here are some of the listed phones that is eligible for HarmonyOS:
- Huawei P40 Pro
- Huawei P40 Pro+
- Huawei P40 4G
- Huawei Mate 30 4G (Confirmed)
- Huawei Mate 30 Pro 4G (Confirmed)
- Huawei Mate 30 5G (Confirmed)
- Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G (Confirmed)
- Huawei Mate 30 RS Porsche Design (Confirmed)
The rumoured P50 is also rumoured to be shipped with Android 10 with HarmonyOS as its skin.
