PUBG sequel, PUBG New State is ready for Pre-orders. Slated release could be next week

PUBG (Player Unknown’s BattleGrounds)’s sequel is now ready for pre-registration on Google Play. The game is reported to be set in a dystopian future in 2051.

The game was developed by PUBG Studio and Krafton, and last Thursday, 25th February, the trailer for the game was released. Not much is shown in the trailer, other than the futuristic and/or modern setting the game is taking place.

Alongside the trailer, PUBG studio released a new video stating the game is ready for pre-registration.

The game, once released, is downloadable for free, alongside the usual microtransactions. Simply, the game will be running a “Freemium” model.

It is not known yet what types of CPU/GPU the game needs to run properly. There is also no announcement yet of a “lite” version, like PUBG Lite.
