Vivo Launches the Y19s for the Casual Users Who Goes Out in Style!

Phones are just getting stylish nowadays.

Vivo launched officially the Y19s, right after its teaser. It is a budget phone designed for the everyday user, such as those using social media, those who like to play casual games, and those who use it for call and texts, with little compromise for them. It also comes in a stylish-looking design complete with what appears to be a ring light that is quite trending. Vivo calls it “dynamic light”.

The phone has a fairly large chin and bezels, as expected for something at its price range. The phone comes in three colours: Pearl Silver, Glossy Black, and Glacier Blue. As for the display, you’re taking a 6.68″ 90Hz HD+ (1600x720px) screen which is something typical for this type of device. It also features a UNISOC Tiger T612 chipset with 4 or 8GB RAM and a choice between 128 or 256GB storage. Virtual RAM and an expandable MicroSD Card are also options to maximize storage space. The phone also boasts of an IP64 rating, which means it has extra protection against dust and milder protection against splashes.

The phone has a pretty basic camera setup. This consists of a 50MP primary alongside a depth sensor and a 5MP selfie camera.

It features a 5500mAh battery with 15W charging. It charges via USB-C. In addition, the phone also has a 3.5mm jack, a speaker, 4G LTE connectivity, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Everything you need to get to the basics.

It is priced at PHP 6,499 (4/128) or PHP 8,499. The phone is listed in Lazada but you can also get it in Vivo’s official concept stores and authorized third-party distributors nationwide.
