Well… that comes with several compromises
Vivo announced a new budget phone, for those who want a phone that can do basic calls, text, maybe even take photos or play casual games. This is the Y03t. Its design reminds us of previous realme phones, like the realme 10 for example.
As an ultrabudget phone, the Vivo Y03t is as basic as you can get, and it’s probably going to stay in the inventory for a huge amount of time. It is priced at PHP 4,399 but with the appropriate vouchers, you can get it down for as low as PHP 3,399 on Shopee. It is a phone featuring a 6.56″ HD+ (1600x720px) display, a UNISOC Tanggula/Tiger T612 chipset with 4GB RAM + 128GB ROM, a 13MP camera with a 5MP selfie, a 5000mAh battery with 15W fast charging on USB-C, 3.5mm jack, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 4G LTE, and Dual-band Wi-Fi.
We listed pretty much everything you need to know. See, very basic. But sometimes, going back to basics can be a good thing, especially to our starting techie friends. It’s September, and Jose Mari Chan is about to tell his classic story about boys and girls selling lanterns on the street. You could even wrap your grandparents a present, which they will highly appreciate during the upcoming Christmas season.
One thing’s for sure, the phone is IP54-rated, so it can withstand some splash and rain. It is available in Gem Green and Space Black.
