ICYMI: Honor Pad 9 OFFICIALLY Launched! A Keyboard Version Is Also Available

Of course, the keyboard is sold separately

Honor Philippines has been teasing to its community about a new tablet, and an insider that we personally know of had shown it to us even before the announcement. It’s here for over a week now since its launching back in April 22. Just in time before school starts in case you were looking for a tablet on offer. The Honor Pad 9 comes with some new features that slightly improved on the Pad 8.

First, the display is larger and has higher resolution. It uses an IPS LCD measuring 12.1 inches and with 2.5K (2560x1600px) resolution. Next, it uses a newer processor, the same one as the Honor X9b, the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. It comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM.

Now, the entire body is still made of aluminum yet it remains light to hold. Its camera alignment is now placed horizontally, with a circular island ala OnePlus Pad. This camera has 13MP resolution. Meanwhile, for video calls, the tablet has an 8MP selfie sensor.

It has an 8,300mAh battery with 35W fast charging. A battery that is modest for its size. It could have been larger. It boots up MagicOS 7.2 based on Android 13. It comes in a single color: Space Grey. What we haven’t mentioned yet is that this tablet now comes with eight speakers instead of six from the Pad 8. Now, you can really feel the movie coming out of the tablet.

Its price is PHP 15,999 while the keyboard costs PHP 2K more to purchase. So with the keyboard, that totals to PHP 17,999. Depending on the preference, the tablet is only available online through Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop.
