Xiaomi loves doing a thing called rebadging.
Tomorrow, POCO will launch their “newest” smartphone in the M-series called the M6 Pro 5G. The phone is identical to the Redmi 12 5G which was released in India just a few days ago. Everything, apart from the black bar and POCO logo, is the same.
The POCO M6 Pro will launch in Forest Green and Power Black colour ways. It’s strange that POCO Yellow is absent this time as the colour was present up until the M5 series and is the company’s signature colour.
Price starts at INR 10,999 (~PHP 7.5K) for the 4/64 version and INR 12,999 (~PHP 8.8K) for the 6/128 configuration. Just like with cars, rebadged phones are usually, if not always, inferior to their originals but come with a smaller price tag.
