The RedMagic 8S PRO is Available for Pre-Order on XUNDD

Unlike the ASUS ROG Phone 7, this comes with a Waifu, making it 1000x better.

Our colleagues from XUNDD have announced that the RedMagic 8S Pro is now available for pre-order. It is a gaming phone with a transparent back and an invisible front camera, making the phone a nearly “full screen” experience!

Aside from that, it comes with the all-new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with options for 12/256 or 16/512 configurations. It comes with two 3000mAh battery cells with 65W fast charging. The Chinese version has a way speedier 100W but 65W is pretty fast too, especially on a phone. According to ZTE, the phone is charged from dead to full in just 35 minutes.

It comes with a rectangular design with an aluminium build. It comes with a nearly bezel-free 6.7″ FullHD+ (2480x1116px) SAMOLED with 120Hz refresh rate and 960Hz Sampling Rate which means it has super fast response time perfect for games like Farlight 84, PUBG, and rhythm games.

Its cooling system has been revamped too. Now it comes with the new ICE 12.0 thermal control system with a dissipation area of 2068mm3. It also comes with a powerful 20,000RPM fan that is controllable by the user. This allows the phone to have a 2°C drop in temperature while charging, and a 1.3°C drop thermally.

Cameras are not the highest priority when it comes to gaming phones. The RedMagic 8S Pro comes with a midrange 50MP Samsung GN5 primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP auxiliary. The front camera is typically more important as it is used for making gameplay. Here, the front camera has a resolution of 16MP and is located underneath the phone. ZTE is the only company currently to still develop the hidden camera while others either gave up on it or are on a prototype level.

The phone has 520Hz shoulder trigger pads that complement shooter games. It also has connectivity ports that allow you to connect RedMagic accessories such as a monitor and mechanical keyboard. These can be managed through the RedMagic X Gravity app.

In terms of audio, the RedMagic 8S Pro has a 5-layer magnetic Stereo Speaker System with Hi-Res and DTS:X Audio enhancements. It is located in an enclosed frame to ensure maximum loudness and immersion.

It is available for PHP 42,999 (12/256) or PHP 51,999 (16/512) via XUNDD. It is currently only available for pre-orders and customers who do will also receive a FREE RedMagic Shadow Blade Gamepad which, funnily enough, resembles a Nintendo Switch.
