Game on with the Infinix Hot 30 Play. Now available in the Philippines

Large batteries are pretty common with the Play series.

It has been four days since we made our last article. Well, we are back after an unnannounced short break, coming in to report you about Infinix’ latest budget phone, the Hot 30 Play. This was released in the Philippines around May 10th.

The phone feels like BBK Electronics designed it, especially the rear camera layout consisting of two large camera humps and a flash. This is no way a bad thing. In fact, it may be beneficial because this design is minimalistic and yet looks pretty.

The phone is your usual budget gaming phone. What Infinix kept consistent about the Play series is the large battery. This is a staple of the phone for quite some time. It is a 6000mAh battery with sadly only 18W fast charging. Gotta keep those costs low somehow.

The front display is the usual 6.82″ HD+ 90Hz IPS LCD, like with the Hot 20 Play. The chipset is not reported here for good reasons. It is a MediaTek Helio G37 which may not sound that pleasant in a marketing standpoint especially if you’re touting this phone as a gaming phone. It comes with 8GB RAM plus 8GB extra if you enable virtual RAM via the settings. Its 128GB internal storage is expandable too.

The phone comes with a 16MP+2MP camera setup and a flash. The dot notch features an 8MP front camera.

Among other things, it has a USB-C port, 3.5mm jack, Dual Nano-SIM card slot, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, and Dual-band Wi-Fi.

You could get this pretty phone for PHP 5,499 via Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop. It comes in Black, White, and Purple.

Infinix is also the official mobile partner for Mobile Legends so their phones are guaranteed to run it, even on the lowest settings.
