Pretty sure the design also brings some spark into your eyes.
Smartphone designs have gotten so linear over the years despite the improvements in technology. They all look a little too similar. Be it having a waterdrop notch, multiple cameras arranged in several arrays, a dot notch, and others. They are all just slabs of screens mounted on a slab of plastic, metal, or glass. No in-betweens.
The Spark 10 Pro has a design that has that feel. Its rear camera hump highly resembles that of the older iPhone 12 and it also comes with a dot notch. There are only so many combinations you could design a phone with that, eventually, they will overlap. That is happening right now actually, with the Reno 8T 5G resembling the Nova 9 or Huawei P50, and Transsion’s phones, owner of Tecno, Infinix, and Itel, have phones that BBK (Realme, Vivo, Oppo, iQoo, OnePlus) could have designed.
Going back to the Spark 10 Pro, it’s a budget phone flaunting a high-res 32MP front camera which means your pores would be a lot more visible when you take selfies. Even your phone knows you should get rid of those dark spots and acne. Get on it!
Another feature of the phone is its “hard-wearing” glass back, a rare sight to see in budget phones (and hopefully more would adopt it). Getting to the specs, its front display is a 6.8″ FullHD+ (2400x1080px) IPS LCD with 90Hz refresh rate. It uses a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage both of which are expandable. You could have a total of 16GB RAM by taking up to 8GB RAM from your internal storage, and we know how gimmicky virtual RAM can be. The storage could be expanded via a MicroSD Card. Still, this phone is a lot more affordable than the other iPhone clone.
It has a 5000mAh battery charged via an 18W USB-C 2.0 port. It also has a headphone jack that’s, ironically, not available in most higher-end phones. The camera system at the back is not the same as the iPhone’s and you shouldn’t dearly expect it. It’s a 50MP triple camera setup with the latter two being a 2MP macro and depth. Its main highlight, as we said, is the 32MP front camera situated in the middle of the display.
It has NFC, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, and dual-band Wi-Fi. There’s no official pricing yet and knowing Transsion, it’s a mystery until it’s just suddenly listed in either Shopee or Lazada.
