The same date the Emoji Movie was released on theaters last 2017!
Xiaomi teased a lot of POCO phones lately. It all started with Poco F3 and X3, now they are just churning out phones after phones. The POCO F3 GT has a scheduled release of 23rd July. Then there’s the lower-end variant, the X3 GT, coming a week later.
Essentially, these phones are rebranded Redmi K40 Gaming and Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G respectively. We are actually excited for the arrival of the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G internationally, and it seems like the phone is coming, as a Poco phone.
You probably already know about the Redmi K40 Gaming, you can read about the article we made about it here. But to give you a quick summary, the phone will have a Dimensity 1200 chipset, a dedicated gaming slider and its camera modules light up as well. The phone also comes with a Samsung E4 AMOLED display.
About the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G (or Poco X3 GT internationally), expect a 6.6in. IPS LCD panel with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Unfortunately, unlike its 4G sibling, it doesn’t come with AMOLED, but that’s partly compensated with the higher refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
There’s also a Mediatek Dimensity 1100 chipset in place, along with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, making performance lightning fast (we do hope the software is optimised along with the chipset to lessen issues that users may have while using the phones)
For the camera, it comes with your typical set of cameras: a 64mp main module, 8mp ultrawide and a useless 2mp macro. Expect 5G (like duh) coming from the device. The phone has an IP53 splash resistance rating, 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging and ships with MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11
The phone would launch first in Malaysia, but will also launch in other regions like Turkey and Indonesia, possibly India as well.
