Formerly available in select areas only, Smart has announced that the company’s unlimited 5G promo is now available nationwide where 5G is currently available.
Initially, this promo is available only in Metro Manila, Angeles City, Baguio City, Cavite City, Cebu City, Clark City, and Davao City. The 5G service is now available to areas where there is 5G coverage including Batangas, Boracay, Cagayan De Oro and others.
The data plans have no data cap and should start at Php299
Below are their 5G promos:
- Unli 5G Data 299 – Unlimited 5G Data for 7 days (No cap) + 3GB Data for non-5G areas
- Unli 5G Data 599 – Unlimited 5G Data for 30 days (no cap) + 12GB Data for non-5G areas
- Unli 5G Data 799 – Unlimited 5G Data for 30 days (no cap) + 24GB Data for non-5G areas
For the promos to work, the area you are in must support 5G and your phone should also support 5G services. There are multiple phones on the market that support 5G, including budget phones and flagships. If you use a 5G SIM but your phone does not support 5G, it will show up as 4G LTE.
