The new Oppo Band for fitness, has also been announced and is available for purchase starting April. Just like other companies, Oppo is getting in on the action with the fitness market.
The Oppo Band comes in two flavours: Style and Classic, both have nearly same specs with minute difference in strap width and comes with different colours. The classic has a 15mm strap length and the Style has 14mm strap length. There is also difference in terms of how the strap was made. Check Oppo’s site for more details
The Oppo Band comes with a 2.5D glass on the front and PC glass on the back for its casing materials. It also features an AMOLED display measuring 1.1in. and a resolution of 126×294 pixels. For battery, it comes with a 100mAh battery that should last you up to 12 days.
It supports Android 6 and above when you want to connect your phone to the band.
For sensors, It has a blood-oxygen sensor and heart rate sensor as well as 3-axis acceleration sensor. It supports 12 sports mode including Outdoor and Indoor Run, Yoga, Badminton, Cricket, Rowing, etc.
The band is 5ATM water resistant, allowing it to be submerged under the water for up to 50m
The band also allows you to see notifications, including message and calls and access to timers/stopwatch/alarm, Find my Phone, Camera control, Weather reports and music playback controls
For connectivity, the band supports Bluetooth 5.0
