We’re a little late on this one.
Xiaomi has released a series of new tablets, both for the premium line and the budget line. The Redmi Pad SE is on that latter side of the line. It is big, metallic, and charges really really slow.
This large tablet features an 11-inch FullHD+ (1920x1080px) display with 90Hz refresh rate, a quad speaker system (and a 3.5mm jack), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset without LTE services since the tablet lacks an antenna, and a large 8000mAh battery with only 10W charging. You know how we already feel about the 15W charging on the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 so imagine having an even slower charging with almost the same battery capacity? It would take forever to charge this thing!
Other features mentioned include Hi-Res Audio for both wired and wireless devices, Dolby Atmos, and an 8MP camera at the back and a 5MP camera at the front.
It is priced in the Philippines at PHP 10,999 (4/128) and is available across all Xiaomi stores nationwide and in online stores like Lazada and Shopee. Colours include Mint Green, Graphite Grey, and Lavender Purple.
