Doogee Adds Another Tablet to its Ever-growing Portfolio, the T20 Mini

Designed for compact users alike… and wait, isn’t that the iPad Mini wallpaper???

Doogee has just recently returned in the Philippines, and they returned with a BANG! They have seen success through online platforms like Lazada and Shopee, specifically in the tablet category. Now, the company is pretty confident it can penetrate this market further and has since introduced more tablets for a more general audience.

Above is the T20 Mini. It’s pretty clear that Doogee has no shame where it’s getting its “inspirations” from. And yes, that is the wallpaper of the iPad Mini you’re seeing. However, only the front resembles the new-gen iPad Mini at all. The back is much more original.

It has a lot of features to unpack for such a nifty small device. The front features an 8.4″ FullHD+ display, almost the same size as the iPad Mini. However, unlike that tablet, this one is more budget-oriented, not even close. The tablet features a UNISOC T606 chipset which is a way weaker chip than the iPad Mini’s A15 Bionic. It comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage with the option for expansion via a MicroSD Card. The RAM is also expandable virtually.

The back has a camera island that appears to house multiple cameras. The primary rear camera is a 13MP Sony sensor, though unspecified which. The secondary camera appears to be just there for aesthetic purposes. And speaking of aesthetics, the back comes in three colours and what appears to be an aluminium build.

For an 8.4″ tablet, the battery size is only moderate, at a humble 5060mAh charged via a 10W USB-C port. That’s slow, even for today’s budget phone standards. Thankfully, this small battery and slow charging issues are mitigated because the tablet has cellular connectivity, though only 4G but that’s better than nothing.

It runs Android 13 fresh out of the box and comes in Black, Purple and Green. It is priced at PHP 7,999 but is currently discounted to just PHP 6,499. You can get it via Lazada and Shopee, as well as Doogee Philippines’ official third-party retailers, which you can refer to by clicking this link.
