Doogee Philippines Marks its Debut in the Philippines with Three New Tablets!

We’re hoping for rugged phones next time, too.

Doogee has marked its return to the Philippines with three new tablets. They have been teasing their return for a few weeks now and they even held a giveaway. Lucky winners could get a chance to win a speaker if they reasonably answer why they are excited about Doogee’s comeback and what makes them so great as a company.

In a live event, the company showcased three tablets as a start. These are the T10, T10S, and T30 Pro.

DOOGEE T10:

The Doogee T10 is a budget tablet, and one of the few in its type that features a “dual” camera system. It’s also L1 Widevine Certified which means you can watch HDR content on streaming platforms like Netflix and Disney Plus.

According to its website, the tablet features a 10.1″ screen with 1920x1200px resolution. The overall frame of the tablet is made of aluminum. It runs Android 12 with a custom skin that Doogee is yet to name.

In terms of its chipset, it’s a UNISOC (Listed as “Spreadtrum” in their website) T606. Its a chipset somewhere in between the MediaTek Helio G70 and the MediaTek Helio G85. It comes with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM (+7GB Virtual) and 128GB internal storage.

There are three cameras, “two” at the back, and a single 8MP at the front. The rear features a 13MP primary but the secondary camera may or may not be a real camera, not even a 2MP one because the website does not mention it. And no, that’s not an LED flash you’re seeing. This rear camera can record 2K@30fps, or a resolution similar to the tab’s.

It is equipped with an 8300mAh battery with 18W fast charging. That’s more than what the Redmi Pad SE offers and this would charge somewhat faster than the latter. It also has a dual stereo speaker system, not quad, unlike what other budget tablets offer. Also, this doesn’t appear to have Dolby Atmos enhancements.

This tablet comes in Space Grey, Neptune Blue, and Moonlight Silver colourways. The tablet also has LTE connectivity, evidenced by the presence of a dual nano-SIM slot. Its price starts at PHP 9,499 but is currently discounted to PHP 8,399 plus a free Bluetooth keyboard. The tablet has no magnetic attachment it seems.

DOOGEE T10S:

The second tablet shown is the T10S, a watered down version of the Doogee T10 featuring a similar display size and resolution, weaker cameras, and an odd choice of using a smaller battery. However, this time, Doogee actually showed that this has a magnetic attachment underneath to add a keyboard in. Promotional images show that it also supports pens and styluses. We’re wondering why they didn’t show it at the higher-specced T10.

Anyway, just like the T10, the T10S uses an aluminum body and frame and is slightly thicker at 8.5mm, versus the T10’s 7.5mm. There are also “two” cameras again at the back and a single 5MP camera at the front.

Powering this chipset is a UNISOC T606 octa-core chipset identical to the T10. It comes with 6GB RAM (+11GB Virtual Memory) and 128GB storage. This tablet was released a little later since it now runs Android 13, a version higher than the T10. The tablet also has a TF Card Reader that could read up to 1TB of storage,

The battery here is smaller, as mentioned. It’s only 6600mAh but uses the same display size and is apparently thicker. That means, there’s a lot of space to put inside of this. It charges using a 10W charger. Slow, but it’s more appropriate to use here.

It comes in Mint Green, Neptune Blue, and Space Grey. Like the T10, it comes with a FREE Bluetooth keyboard for its debut price of PHP 7,399 (regular price: PHP 8,399). The tablet lacks a headphone jack which makes sense since this thing is pretty big and isn’t exactly a laptop.

DOOGEE T30 Pro:

Finally, the highest-end of the trio, the T30 Pro. This one feels more like a proper competing tablet with a quad speaker system (with Hi-Res), an 11″ 2.5K IPS LCD screen, a metallic build, and a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset.

In its website, it mentions of a launch event which means the tablet is yet to be released globally but it was shown here first so it’s either the website is yet to be updated, or we got the tablet here first before everyone else.

From the website design alone, you can tell Doogee curated this one to be more premium. Unlike the latter two, this tablet actually features two real cameras. The back features a 20MP Sony camera (possibly IMX355) and a 16MP Samsung secondary camera, beating other tablets which cheap out by using older sensors. The front uses an 8MP shooter.

Going back to the 11″ display, here, it only has 60Hz refresh rate at 275ppi and 350nits peak brightness. Although, it is Widevine L1 certified like the T10.

To reiterate, it uses a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, making it a competitor against the Realme Pad, Redmi Pad, and the Oppo Pad Air. It comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM, plus 7GB Virtual RAM and 2TB MicroSD Card expandable storage.

Unlike the latter two, this tablet has a quad speaker system with Hi-Res Audio. It also has a similar battery size as the T10. Here, its battery capacity is 8580mAh and charges on a 33W USB-C port.

As rendered images show, it has a magnetic attachment underneath and also supports pen and styluses. It comes in Ice Blue, Space Grey, and Mint Green. It also runs Android 13 like the T10S.

Its price is PHP 16,599 but like the latter two, it comes with a FREE Bluetooth keyboard during its pre-order period and it’s also discounted to PHP 13,499.
