Carl Pei will prepare his lawyers!
Just a week after the Nothing Phone (2) launched, Infinix seems to be making their own version but with a gaming twist! There was a design blueprint shared exclusively for the Infinix community. This blueprint was shared over on Twitter. Carl Pei saw the design as well and mentioned that the glyph design is patented.
GSMArena got official photos of the phone. The real thing, while still using a transparent back and glyph lighting, looks less similar to the Nothing Phone (2). However, the resemblance is still there, especially the white colour option.
This transparent design is nothing new. Xiaomi did this before with the Mi 8 Explorer Edition and RedMagic uses a similar transparent design as well. The idea of this GT 10 Pro is similar to the Nothing Phone (2) but its execution and actual design are completely different. We really like the orange vinyl applied on the black colour, though.
By the way, the Unihertz Luna is an even closer clone to the Nothing Phone series with a similar idea and design. This phone first debuted at MWC 2023.
According to leaks, the phone is using a Dimensity 8050 chipset which is just the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 under a different banner. The phone’s design and specs are strikingly similar to the Note 30 VIP but with a transparent back. It is still unknown whether it will launch globally.
Among other specs, the phone has a 108MP primary camera, one major Android upgrade and two years of security updates, and an orange charging cable. Thanks to Infinix’s partnership with gaming studios, the phone will be optimized for games like PUBG, MLBB, and Garena Free Fire. Although we’re hoping it would be optimized for every app and game in general.
If we’re going to base the phone on the Note 30 VIP, then its display is a 6.7″ flat FullHD+ AMOLED with 120Hz refresh rate and would come with a 5000mAh battery with 68W fast charging and the company’s All-round Fast Charging proprietary tech which allows phones to be used while charging and support for up to 260W of power. The Note 30 VIP also has 50W wireless charging which is extraordinarily rare on a budget midrange phone.

No word from Infinix Philippines about its release but we’re highly guessing India will get the phone first.
