One day, the Helio G85 should be the standard even for ultra-budget phones
Up there is the Samsung Galaxy F04, a budget phone intended for Indian users. It is available on Flipkart. Guess what chipset it uses? The Helio P35. A chip released 6 years ago. Nice! While yes, it is the first budget phone Samsung released this year, it’s still very much outdated. The only thing that stands out here is the design. It uses a plastic back and has several colours but we like the cross-stitch design for it.
The screen is a 6.5in. HD+ (1600x720px) IPS LCD with a 5MP camera sitting on top of the waterdrop notch. It has a 13MP primary and a 2MP depth helper at the back. The battery is usual, a 5000mAh juice box with 15W fast charging. It uses a MicroUSB port.
The phone is available via Flipkart with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It has a 3.5mm jack, a Dual Nano-SIM slot, Virtual RAM (up to 2GB) 4G LTE, and Wi-Fi capabilities. It costs INR 9,499 (~Php 6.4K). Colours include Pink and Green.
Not yet in the Philippines but since when was the F series available here? The M series barely sells too.
