Infinix Hot Play 20 now official. It comes with a 90Hz punch-hole screen.

It is effectively one of the most affordable punch hole phones you can buy… if it becomes available here.

The Hot 20 Play is one of the main phones under the Hot 20 line up which also includes the 20 5G and the Free Fire edition.

For now, we’re focusing on the Hot 20 Play, a budget phone with a stylish and modern appearance. It even has a USB-C port underneath.

The Hot 20 Play is Infinix design, in a nutshell, featuring a large 6000mAh battery with 18W fast charging, DTS Audio enhancement, and a fast 90Hz HD+ (1640x720px) IPS LCD screen. The cameras are also pretty much Infinix, with vague specifications like a 13MP main camera and of course, the AI Lens which only they have (don’t worry, it’s just a fancy way of saying depth sensor). The front camera is an 8MP shooter situated at the center of the display.

It comes with 4GB RAM and 64 or 128GB internal storage, both of which are expandable. Supporting these is the new Helio G37, a pumped-up version of the Helio G35 still on a 12nm process and uses MediaTek’s HyperEngine 2.0 Lite.

The phone features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner which is getting rarer by the day. So it’s nice seeing it here. Although based on the picture, the position seems to be way too high and sitting beside the camera island which can be inconvenient.

Not yet available in the Philippines but it will soon be. We’ll update this very article to let you know.
