The Redmi Pad is a budget tablet with multiple colours and a large display

The early bird is pretty amazing too.

Xiaomi has brought the midrange Pad 5 to the country almost a year ago. That tablet is situated in the midrange tablet market and so Xiaomi has to fill the gap of the budget line as that is dominated by the likes of Lenovo, Realme, Huawei, and Samsung.

Their answer? The Redmi Pad. It is described as an all-in-one tablet perfect for education, entertainment, and to use for kids. Like almost all tablets released, this phone is nearly all-screen and uses a metallic build.

To recall, the Redmi Pad is a large tablet with a screen size of 10.61 inches. This is a glass screen made with an IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 2000x1200px and has 90Hz refresh rate. The tablet is horizontally aligned and so the front camera is located at the middle of the tablet. It uses a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, a 6nm chipset that’s basically the answer against the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680. The tablet has virtual RAM and a MicroSD Card slot (not SIM Card slot though) up to 1TB.

Another of its main feature is its Dolby Atmos-powered quad speakers. It has a dual 8MP camera. One at the front and the other at the back. It has an 8000mAh battery with a slow 18W charging. It’s slow for a battery this size. On the software side, it uses a modified MIUI 13 based on Android 12L

It comes in Graphite Grey, Mint Green, and Moonlight Silver. It is available starting today, October 29th on Shopee. Price starts at Php 13,999 for the 4/128 version but for its early bird, it’s down to just Php 10,999 which is pretty low for a decent-specced tablet. The other, 6/128, is priced at Php 14,999. The early bird for the 4/128 version runs until November 4 only.
