The Realme 9i is here! A contender with the 6nm SD680 and 33W fast charging

Among other aspects however, the phone is a downgrade to the Realme 8

We previously announced that the Realme 9i was coming today. We were just waiting for the price as the Philippines version of the phone has the same specifications as its Indian variant. We also mentioned how it’s technically a downgrade over the Realme 8i.

To recall, the phone is equipped with a 6.6in. FHD+ (2400x1080px) IPS LCD with 90Hz refresh rate, down from the 120Hz the Realme 8i used. It is equipped with a power-saving 6nm Snapdragon 680 rather than the performance chipset Helio G96.

The main camera is 50mp and is complemented by two gimmicky 2mp macro and depth sensors. The front camera has been left intact, 16mp.

It comes with a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, which is the only major improvement in its specs from the Realme 8i. The phone is catered to power users that wanted a phone to last.

In terms of connectivity, the phone has 4G LTE, Dual Nano-SIM slots, 3.5mm jack, Bluetooth 5.0, and a dedicated MicroSD card slot of up to 1TB.

The phone is priced at Php11,990 for the 6/128 configuration, the sole configuration of the Realme 9i. It comes in Prism Black and Blue colours and is available on Shopee. Currently, the phone is in its pre-order phase and is discounted to Php10,790 up until 7th May.
