The Oppo F21 Pro 4G and F21 Pro 5G now available in India. Both are rebrands of already-existing phones.

These companies just rebrand themselves now. Confusion is a marketing tactic

When the world is running out of chipsets and manufacturers running out of creative design ideas, they resort to renaming their phones and calling them entirely new devices. It’s pretty common with Xiaomi but other brands like Oppo and Realme are not innocent of this either. Here comes the Oppo F21 and F21 Pro 5G. They already exist as the Reno 7 4G and Reno 7Z 5G, respectively.

Don’t worry about it. The F21 Pro 5G and the Reno 7Z 5G are identical handsets

The Oppo F21 Pro is actually now available for purchase in the Philippines. It costs Php19,999 for the 8/128 variant and is available in Lazada and Shopee

Oppo F21 Pro 4G/Oppo Reno 7 4G

As the Oppo F21 Pro is essentially the twin brother of the Reno 7 4G, it flaunts the same specs, including the LED camera ring that triggers whenever there is a notification. What’s interesting is that Oppo has not brought the Reno 7 4G to the Philippines yet. There is a chance that the Oppo F21 Pro may simply be called “Oppo F21” when it is officially released here. It might also keep the Reno 7 4G name. The possibilities are endless.
