The Redmi Note 10 Lite is a rebranded Redmi Note 9 Pro/ Redmi Note 9s

Xiaomi’s probably thinking that they can rerelease phones with minor updates and they can get away with it, since people would still buy them.

Xiaomi has a habit of rereleasing smartphones, calling them new under an existing series. It happened before with the Redmi 9C and its “sporty’ variants Redmi 9 Active, Redmi 9A and 9C sport. It’s happening again under the Redmi Note 10. The company has rereleased the Redmi Note 9s (or Note 9 Pro for Indian users) as the Redmi Note 10 Lite with no major differences. Well, colours isn’t exactly a major change and this device would be more expensive than the Redmi Note 9 Pro since it was just released. We recommend buying the latter since it’s the same identical device anyway, unless you really love the new colours Aurora Blue and Champagne Gold. Xiaomi has probably a few Redmi Note 9s/9 Pro in stock and wants to get rid of them. That or it’s just Xiaomi being Xiaomi.

The device is available in India now, though the Redmi Note 9s is still a viable option if you want to see the Redmi Note 10 Lite in action.
