Nothing new… just a smaller notch.
The iPhone 13 series has been launched with minimal design changes. Nope, the notch is still there but but it’s 20% smaller now so at least the battery percentage can now fit in there.
The iPhone 13 and 13 mini have dual cameras, all are 12mp including the front camera. While these two phones don’t have the ProMotion display, they still offer a lot of things that the Pro and Pro Max siblings can, such as the improved camera and cinematic mode. Also, in comparison to the iPhone 12, the iPhone 13 has 1.5 hours longer battery life. Apple is very confident about this too. The iPhone 13 has the same screen size as the previous iPhone 12.
The iPhone 13 Mini has a compact 5.4in. screen size, still using a Super Retina XDR display while the iPhone 13 Pro Max uses a 6.7in. display. The Pro and Pro Max have identical specs apart from the larger screen size.
All four phones use Apple’s lastest A15 Bionic chip which has a GPU that is 20% faster than the competition… Well until Mediatek and Qualcomm defeat it with their Dimensity 2000 and Snapdragon 898 processors respectively.
The Pro and Pro Max support the 120Hz adaptive refresh rate called Pro Motion. We’ve seen Android phones use an adaptive refresh rate, let’s see how Apple manages to do it in theirs. There is lag on some Androids when the adaptive refresh rate is activated.
All four phones are 5G enabled and as an “environmental pursuit”, all four don’t come with a charging brick inside the box but you can buy them separately. Defeats the purpose doesn’t it?
