Leaks… they are not fully reliable so take this with a pinch of salt (or maybe a spoonful)
With various sneak peeks about Realme’s first upcoming tablet, there are bound to be some rumours and speculations what the tablet might be. One of these is certifications on several telecommunications boards.
The Realme Pad was allegedly certified on Singapore’s IMDA website, which also leaked supposed camera specs. Though, currently removed from the website. The leakster who tweeted said certification was removed, but certain articles and websites managed to keep some vital information
In the now-deleted listing, the Realme Pad appears as model number RMP2102 with a description “Realme tablet with WCDMA, LTE, WIFI, BT, GPS”. During an exclusive sneak peek for Android Authority, the company revealed two new plans for their lineup, which are the upcoming Realme Book and Realme Pad, both of which are the first for the company and probably for BBK itself.
The tablet’s design suggested that it is supposed to look like an iPad Pro but targeted towards budget users. In the now-deleted tweet from a leakster, the tablet features two 8mp cameras for the rear and back simultaneously. In addition, the main camera may support EIS and features a 1/3.6in. sensor. The rear camera supports autofocus while the front camera only supports fixed-focus.
The camera specs are said to belong in a Wi-Fi only Realme Pad, and according to the IMDA certification, there should be two variants, the other supporting both LTE and Wi-Fi.
Take note these are leaks, we just have to wait until this tablet launches, more likely this month, as it is the start of the third quarter for most electronic devices.
