Earlier this year, iQoo, Vivo’s high-end and gaming division, has unveiled the Neo 5, and now, the company has silently launched the Vitality edition (aka Neo 5 Lite). It packs the same Snapdragon 870 as the vanilla edition but, unlike the vanilla version, this phone comes with a higher refresh rate at 144Hz vs 120Hz, but at the same time, is compensated by an inferior camera system.
To recap, the iQoo Neo 5 comes with a 6.62in. AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 870 processor and a triple 48mp + 13mp ultrawide + 2mp depth. For the selfies, you get a single 16mp shooter and for the battery you get a Li-Po 4400mAh battery with 66W fast charging.
The iQoo Neo 5 Vitality is equipped with the Snapdragon 870 processor, 6.56in. AMOLED panel with 144Hz refresh rate and HDR10 support. For the camera, as mentioned, is inferior to the vanilla variant, as this one, while it retains the 48mp sensor, this one only has an 8mp ultrawide with 120° FoV and a 2mp macro. Both phones can record 4K video however.
The phone also has a slightly larger capacity of 4500mAh but also has a lower-rate fast charging of only 44W. The difference is marginal and should not affect the longevity of the phone in any obvious situations.
Finally, the phone ships with Android 11 and OriginOS installed. The phone also supports dual-sim and has a port for your headphones. The phone has two colours: Polar Night Black and Ice Peak White
