Lenovo Pad Pro teased

With Android tablets slowly, but steadily getting popular again, it’s about time that manufacturers begin taking the tablet market seriously again, with many eyeing to compete against the latest and greatest iPad Pro.

One of the companies seeing the potential tablets has once again is Lenovo, which teased an upcoming tablet through its Weibo account. This tablet is called the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro.

As of late, Lenovo only has revealed the display and refresh rate the tablet has, but we are expecting more teasers the sooner the release date closes in. The tablet is confirmed to have 90Hz refresh rate, has an OLED display that supports HDR10 and is TUV certified. For the resolution, contrast and brightness, it is a 2560×1600 pixel-resolution tablet and has a 600 nits brightness with 800,000:1 contrast ratio. This is not the brightest, however it is bright enough for a casual user to use. The iPad Pro has a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio and 1600 nits of brightness, suggesting that this new tablet is an upper-midrange tablet.

Based on the teasers, it appears that the tablet has a strong resemblance to the latest-gen iPad Pro, but possibly at a more budget-friendly price. This tablet also has slim bezels making the widest viewing angles possible. It also appears to have a metallic build.
