The Tecno Spark series is Tecno’s budget offering, with the latest currently available being the Spark 6. On 9th April, the Spark 7 was unveiled in India.
The phone’s slogan is “Swag up with Spark 7”. According to the promo poster, there is a dual 16mp and most probably a depth camera setup with a single 8mp dewdrop selfie cam and two storage options, 3/64 and 2/32. The phone is powered by a massive 6000mAh battery, which will last for 30 days on stand-by, according to Tecno
The phone has a 6.5in. 720p display (expected from a budget phone). The website did not feature the processor but according to many sources, it is powered by a Mediatek Helio A25 processor. Unfortunately, it comes with the age-old MicroUSB instead of USB-C.
The phone comes equipped with Android 11 with HiOS on top, Tecno’s Android skin. Other features include FM Radio and headphone jack. It does not support 5G but we are not expecting it on a phone with a price like this.
There are three colours: Morpheus Blue, Spruce Green, Magnet Black.
We will expect the full spec sheet once the phone gets released on 16th April.
