Digital Walker Brings the Nothing Phone (4a) and (4a) Pro in the Philippines

Oddly, that glyph interface gets smaller and smaller. The one thing Nothing is known for.

After a long wait, Digital Walker has brought in the newest series of Nothing Phones in the Philippines. There are two released. These include the Nothing Phone (4a) and the (4a) Pro.

The designs of the phones remain unique and comes with the signature “Nothing Phone” flair. However, the glyph interface is also noticeably shrinking. Previously, the entire phone was covered in the glyph lighting interface, but now, as the series progressed, this little unique identifier shrinks. The (4a) features a light bar that surrounds the cameras, meanwhile the (4a) Pro features a circular display that you can easily customize. The backs are still transparent, thankfully.

In terms of the display, the (4a) Pro is slightly bigger. It uses a 6.83″ 144Hz AMOLED screen with 1.5K (2800x1260px) resolution. Meanwhile, the (4a) uses a 6.77″ 120Hz AMOLED display, also with 1.5K resolution.

The phones are still in the midrange category. Both Nothing Phone (4a) and (4a) Pro seemingly use the same chipset. However, the regular (4a) uses a power-efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 while the (4a) Pro uses the more natural performing Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. Both of these come with either 8 or 12GB RAM and 128 or 256GB ROM.

Nothing Phone (4a) Camera setup

Both the (4a) and (4a) Pro come with a triple camera setup consisting of two 50MP cameras. One of these serves as a telephoto camera and the other is your everyday shooter. The third camera is an 8MP Ultrawide sensor. For selfies, a 32MP camera is present.

In terms of battery sizes, the two phones are roughly the same. Both phones utilize a 5080mAh battery complemented with 50W fast charging. Indian users get a larger 5400mAh battery instead.

The (4a) Pro’s glyph interface is a small circular “dot matrix” display and as mentioned, is customizable. Users can assign specific icons to it so that only important notifications are shown. This might be the first time we’ve seen a phone actually use sign language to spread the message to the users.

The Nothing Phone (4a) comes in white, black, blue, and pink. Meanwhile the (4a) Pro comes in silver, black, and pink. Refer below for the phone’s prices.
