These include phones like the Vivo X90, the company’s latest flagship
Last year, Vivo launched a wide array of smartphones ranging from the budget, midrange, and flagship entries. According to the company, these releases are a success. So successful that they are excited to tell you about what to expect from them this year.
For instance, the Vivo Y35, which was released last year, will be getting a 5G variant. This will ensure a faster and more reliable connectivity, at least, if it uses a competent chipset. The 4G variant’s successor, the Y36, will also be released this year. The main highlight being a larger display.
The V27 will also arrive this year. As the successor to the attractive V25 series, you could see retaining features such as an attractive design and vlogging features. It will also have a larger battery, a better chipset, and a wider array of colours to choose from.
Finally, we have the X90, the company’s latest flagship. It was released in China first, but because Vivo announced this on their 2023 roadmap, we’re happy to say that a global version is on its way. To recall, the Vivo X90 is a camera-centric flagship featuring Zeiss lenses and a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chip. It features three cameras comprising of a 50MP Sony IMX866 ‘Bionic Spectrum’ primary camera, a 12MP f/2.0 ultrawide, and a 50MP Sony IMX758 telephoto with 2x zoom.
There’s also the Pro variant. The main difference between the vanilla and this Pro variant are its cameras. Particularly, the Pro switches to a larger 1-inch 50MP Sony IMX989 sensor. The rest of the two cameras remain the same. Both of these phones would have ZEISS T* coating and lenses, as well as the new V2 photography chip.
